• Working on the shawl design, I was inspired by an old legend about a beautiful and strong woman who always follows the call of Mother Nature. Donna means lady, queen, dame.
• This shawl is knitted from the center top down with increases at start and centerline at the end of every RS row. The main leaf pattern repeats 4 times on the shawl body
• Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner. You should be able to comfortably use technics: knit & purl, cast-on & bind-off, increasing, decreasing, garter stitch. But the detailed video tutorial for all technics used during the knitting process is added
• The use of bulky yarn makes this shawl textured and cozy. You need approx. 436 yards (400 m) of Super Bulky (Super Chunky) (5-6 wpi) yarn in 2 colors (218 yards (200m) of one color, 218 yards (200m) of another color).
